Creating using Finewoodworking.com's Dream Shop Planner tool
Shop Specs
- Location: Loomis, California, USA
- Size: 600sq. ft.
- Type: Garage

This is a dream shop approx. 20' x 30' with at least 10' ceilings. In the lower left corner there is a "generic bench" that is actually vertical sheet goods storage. All materials are brought into the shop via the 8' garage door. The miter saw and infeed outfeed tool storage cabinets are under the wall mounted wood storage. The outfeed table for the table saw allows full 4' x 8' sheets to be handled. The air compressor and dust collection are housed in a seperate room to minimize noise. This room also has a rollup door to allow equipment ingress or egress. The dust collector is ducted to each individual machine with with blast gates at each machine.

Semi-Permanent Bench Grinder Mount
Threaded inserts keep grinder locked-down, but easily movable.
My work table often pulls double- and triple-duty for tons of shop tasks.
