This is my first attempt at a 'fine furniture' piece. The top is made from Curly Maple and the legs/aprons from maple. The separation of the boards in the top are reminiscent of how every life's path is like a stream, and yet no 2 are the same.

Joinery between the legs and long aprons are halflap. Between the legs and short aprons is mortise & tenon.

Finish is boiled linseed oil coated with shellac and polyurethane.

Design is my own take on a modernistic Louis XV.
