A perfect simple shop suits me just well. Everything neat, organized, and within reach. This design is based on a one-car garage, 20x12. Most power tools would be stored under the tables leaving the wall clear for hand tools, which would be the primary focus in my shop. I love just working with wood using hand tools and the quietness of it all. This would be my place to relax and the noise power tools would only be used for dimensioning the lumber if needed.
