Louis XV style arm chair made from birch. This chair is part of a set which includes a writting table and side chair. The design is from several photo's that was provided by the Architect. This chair with this leg and these arms sort of thing. I just put them all together and this is how it all turned out. The design of all three pieces came about in the same manner. The finish is dye stains and glazes, topped with laquer.

Thanks for looking!

I searched all over the internet looking for some plans on this kind of chair myself and came up blank. So I guess you chould say this is a one of kind. I did keep all the patterns though. Some of the parts there are no patterns for however. Like the crest rail, it was just shaped as I went and fit to the chair.

And your right it was a challenge!
