SketchUp 8 M2 Released
comments (7) December 2nd, 2011 in blogs
Yesterday Google released the second maintenance release of SketchUp 8. There are more than 150 bug fixes and other under-the-hood tweaks. For those who have difficulty installing plugins from ZIP files, they made this easier to do. Under Preferences>Extensions you'll find a button labeled 'Install Extension...' Click on that button and navigate to the folder that contains the ZIP file to install. If you download plugins as ZIP files, simply change their extension from ZIP to RBZ. I would suggest if you choose not to place plugins into the Plugins folder that you at least create a specific folder location for them.
You can read more about this maintenance release here. Download the latest version from this link.

Dave, I hope what I've sent you is the right thing. In the first drawing of the bed (this is the second version), I fixed the centre lower drawer but if you zoom in on the other two you can see how they have shifted. I'm not sure how you will be able to tell what's happening but give it a shot and thanks. You guys are soooo helpful. Barb
