JimSpiri JimSpiri writes: well, thanks! (don't be jealous, i can't pay my rent). There's a couple FW articles i'd suggest:"9 tips for better design" (Fortune, FW #182); "Asymmetry- the designer's secret" (Binzen, FW #222). A small gem of a book i'd recommend to EVERYONE is "The nature and art of workmanship" by David Pye (still in print. FWIW: The Bubinga is from a 10 foot long table i made a few months ago. I loved the top, but not the base. So i 'recycled' it (two more benches coming)-Jim

These kinds of projects keep me coming back to the forum - to see what others minds are coming up with. I have difficulty with the concept of square pegs in square holes, so this table makes me look thru my materials and begin to work new ideas.

I hope this is easier than learning rhythm for music, 'cause that ain't happenin'!

Thanks for posting and I am a (little) jealous.
