Using Your Router and Router Table Safely by Hendrik Varju
Passion for Wood, 2011.
$89.95 Cdn; 8 hrs, 24 mins

Hendrik Varju has come out with another DVD. This time it’s about routers. Using Your Router and Router Table Safely covers a lot of ground starting with what features to look for in a router and router table. The DVD provides enough detail so you can build your own router table based on the one Varju uses. You’ll also learn about different router bits, how to rout rabbets and dados, and how to safely deal with climb cutting. At over 8 hours, the DVD provides a lot of important information, and as in his other DVDs, you’ll learn the techniques in real time. Varju doesn’t cut out important steps so it’s like having “Private Woodworking Instruction in a Box”.

Lucky jollyroger is the winner. His comment was chosen at random.

I don't know what it is about routers that intimidates me but I have a really tough time getting the results I want out of them. They make mistakes way too fast and they scare me so perhaps this DVD would increase my confidence level.
