180  hours labor of love, poplar with a carved front... alignment blocks helped match top and bottom... staggered dove tails were a little tricky... sliding storage tray has a false bottom for special objects, with "lock in position" top holders... the top art work was computer generated, transfered, wood burned in with a hand-made copper chisel point, than colored... the finish was Minwax Helmsman spar urethanne clear semi-gloss spray...total cost $125...
