The catch here prevents the drawer from being inadvertently pulled out.  When closed it catches the head of a round headed brass screw driven into the underneath of the bottom shelf.
Now, the drawer can be removed completely, or put into place.

Built for a very dear friend, this was designed to fit a very specific space and to hold very specific objects.

The drawer has a unique locking mechanism to allow it to open almost completely but not be pulled out unintentionally.

Wall mounted.
