What was revealed
Outside face of door. This was a very pleasing project and an opportunity to work with a client who appreciated the workmanship and quality of the finished door. It certainly looked the part and fitted in with the thatched cottage very well.

A commision to design and make an Oak door of "character" to be fitted in a 300 year old thatched cottage. It took several months to locate the Oak witht the character we were looking for. The window is of "Norman Arch" proportions and I think suits the doorwell although it took some time to make. I don't normally like to stain timber it was necessary to fit in with the existing doors and several coats of wax brought up the character nicely.
