Contemporary Hall Table
The base being bandsawed to shape.  An auxilliary table needed to be added to the bandsaw.
Considerable sanding was necessary on this project!

These two hall tables were made from laminations of Eastern black walnut and quarter-sawn sycamore.  The finish is acrylic lacquer sprayed over sanding sealer.

Jurgen01 Jurgen01 writes: I really like these tables. The design and the woods -- not to mention the sawing, sanding and finishing -- combine to make beautiful pieces. I hope whoever gets these tables truly appreciates them. Thanks for sharing the photographs.
