Because I do not watch TV very much I had an idea to hide it away. TV often doesn't fit in the interior and the kids ask less for television watching. There is also no risk that the kids hit a ball or something straight into the screen.
The flatscreens due to their thin design offer more possibilities to hide them away. That is how I had an idea a year ago to craft a special tv-chest. Chest is a fancy piece of furniture and it's relatively small. You can sit on it, use it as a table and nothing points to a televison there! It's all handmade including 32 dovetails. I used the type of finishing that  gives it an old look.
