Music Cabinet

This commission was made to match a newer piano utilizing certain elements of an old piano that had been in the clients family for almost 100 years. This cabinet is solid walnut with hard maple drawers. The face inlays are bloodwood and ivory with ebony knobs. The side inlays are ebonized walnut and are set proud of the surface. Finish is a wiping stain with a catalized lacquer topcoat followed by a coat of paste wax.
