Three friends in Lynchburg Va really liked Ramon Valdez's Shoji Screen seen in our Fine Woodworkng Magazine. We contacted Ramon via email for permission and info for the build.

He was so helpful and friendl. We chose mahogany for the frames, Spalted pecan for the panels and figured maple for the slats. It was a fun project but those 500+ slats were a chore!
