Building a Guitar Kit

Starting with a guitar kit is definitively the best way to start building guitars.

That's what I did few years ago. After receiving my guitar kit from a big box, I didn't build the guitar right away. I wanted it to be perfect. So I replicated all the pieces twice with cheap wood.  I built the two cheap guitars one after the other to make sure I had really understood all the instructions. After I had all the jigs and right tools to build an acoustic guitar, I finally built the guitar from the kit. The result is a beautiful guitar perfectly built as I wanted. Isn't it the best way to be good at something… repeat and repeat.
