This is my workbench with a bench top that measures 26" wide X 10'-4" long. The base is two 2-door cabinet's placed side by side and secured to the wall and constructed out of 3/4" melamine sheet. The top consists of three layers of MDF wrapped with hard maple. I built it with slots for bench dogs down the front and my clamping capacity is 9 feet - 6 inches. I installed two Sears Craftsman vise's with quick release and the base provides lots of storage space.
