These are some tables that a rustic furniture store asked if I could make so they could sell them. The design was similar to something they had in the store, but they wanted better construction. The drawers are half bind dovetails. The body was made with scraps from the shop, mainly poplar and wormy maple, and the tops are rustic hickory. The finishing process consisted of dying the body red and then painting it with black milk paint. I then sanded and finished with Polyurethane. Not bad for a bunch of scrap pieces.
