Side view of armoire.
Top front showing inside the cabinet.
Bottom of cabinet showing drawers.
Detailed carving and molding on top.  All hand made.  Copied the carving from a purchased stamped piece, but did all the work with hand tools.

This is an armoire I built for my daughter.  I started with plans that called for it being made from plywood, and there was no decorative top.  I redesigned it so all the joints moved for expansion using solid cherry.  It took me 1 1/2 years part time, but the effort was worth it.  I sure learned a lot in the process.
