This is a simple box I built a while back as a gift for a family member. The original idea was to make this into a locking pistol box. After carving the curly maple "Stones" in the top I decided to allow the box be what it is..... A simple keepsake.

The constriction is walnut with miter splines made of walnut as well for added strength and appearance. Interior is curly maple with leather lining the bottom. Figured I have been around here on FWW long enough without posting something I have done...lol

Thanks for checking it out.

(got a loooong way to go to) This one really stands out! It invites you to feel it and stare at it. The wood combination is pleasent yet exciting! Enjoyed looking.
