Photo of finished sapele writing desk, with ten drawers and six cubbies.  This is one of two desks that were made as  a fundraiser for a local museum and a high school scholarship.  Both are made identical and are made of solid sapele, finished is mahogany stain and wipe on polyurethane.  These desks were inspired  by a desk featured in Fine Woodworking several years ago.
