Teardrop Mountain Dulcimer

This is a 4 string Mountain Dulcimer in the teardrop design.
This instrument was handcrafted from scratch in my home shop. It has a light clear coat of oil that is hand rubbed. The instrument is signed and dated on the inside and can be viewed through the soundhole.
The tuning head, tailpiece and sides are Cherry .
The fret board is Cherry.
The soundboard and back are book-matched Spanish Cedar.
This instrument is made of all solid wood----no plywood.
Instrument measures 7-1/4" at the widest point. 2" thick. The string length is 28-1/2" from nut to bridge. Overall length is 36". It also has 6-1/2 and 13-1/2 fret.
