Inspired by the cover photo of Fine Woodworking for February 1990 "Building a Lowboy" this project was begun in 1990, set aside for twenty years, and completed early this year as a retirement project.  It's a gift to my great niece.

The species is American black walnut.  The finish is a polyurethane wiping varnish rubbed with 0000 steel wool and buffed with a soft cotton cloth.

Design or Plan used: From Fine Woodworking - February 1990
