I made narrowed the width by 10 inches and increased the height by 10 inches.  Maple veneer plywood for the cases and trimmed in Walnut.  I used Walnut Danish Oil with Semi-gloss Urethane finish.
Plenty of storage in the box below.
Two matching pieces with a 60 inch love seat between them. now trying to help wife decide on how we should do the lighting.

Project based on Tony O'Malley's Mudroom built-ins 8/2010.  I really enjoyed this project and the plans were great to quide me along.
