RED 'N' CURLY LOW TABLE

Photo: INDUFOTO , SEVILLE, SPAIN

This little fellow started out as a doodle and ended up as a table. Halfway through doodling I knew I was onto something good and so had to draw the other half. Thing was, how do I make it?  Working on the premise that you can't design anything outside your own capabilities as a maker, I knew it was possible, just that I hadn't got a clue at that stage. Its cost me a few hours figuring it all through, and I got there in the end. Laminated veneer wrapped around a mold and placed in a vacuum press.
