Showing the drawer. I carved the pull with my new chisel.
This shows the inside of the table. The table is quite small. Only 500mm (20in) tall and 250mm wide and deep so I was working with thin wood and spaces. The aprons and drawer front are 70mm ( 2 3/4in).The runners are glued and screwed into spaces that are screwed into the sides. The top is held on with pocket screws.

One day I was picking up some pieces of firewood from my pile and thought I could use this to make a table leg. So as I collected the wood for the fire I would collect pieces that looked good and put then in a place to dry. A year later I wanted to make a drawer and a drawer must go into something else it is a box. So I collected the firewood and took it to the bandsaw and jointer. Soon I had nice short pieces of white oak. Everything except the drawer bottom, sides and the top come from my firewood pile.

It was fun to take wood from rough through to finish. The drawer was fun and I had to go out and buy a new set of Narex chisles in the middle because my old ones where just no good enough. I also spent a lot of time getting my planes to work correctly. I really had fun and it was a nice project.

The drawer has a solid wood drawer bottom as shown by Garrett Hack #213 and the general design is Christian Becksvoort #210.

Sorry the photos I took them with my phone. Not had a chance to take good quality ones yet.
