Reclaimed Hemlock Cabinet
comments (0) February 13th, 2011 in Reader's Gallery
Made of resawn hemlock that had a previous life as a pier in Toronto. The age and time the wood spend underground account for the grey hue. This cabinet was designed to fill a shallow recess in the customer's house. It was requested that the doors have continuous grain across the length of the cabinet. The interior is whitewashed pine ply and the exterior is waxed. The lighting is LED strands.
