Pair of Mahogany Puzzle Boxes

This pair of mahogany puzzle boxes is a gift for a child. The pair of boxes is identical, 4" x 4" and 3.25" tall, and all blocks are interchangeable. The dovetails are hand cut and there are no metal or mechanical fasteners other than the small brass knobs. The blocks fit together in a specific way and the block puzzle design is copied from other puzzles. The dovetail box in which the blocks are stored is the design of the builder. The finish is three coats of low gloss tung oil and a coat of wax.
