The Messler Gallery at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine has put out a call for entries for Maine Wood 2012. It's a juried exhibit to be held at the gallery. This is a great opportunity to show your work to a wider audience. However, there is one little catch (at least it is for most people). Only pieces that were made in Maine--and primarily from wood--will be accepted into the show. For a complete list of eligibility requirements check out the application.

ROCKPORT, ME - The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship has issued a call for entries for “Maine Wood 2012.” This will be the third in an ongoing series of juried, biennial exhibitions designed to showcase the breadth, creativity, and excellence of wood craftsmanship in Maine, and to promote the artistic and economic development of Maine’s woodworking community. $2,250 in prizes will be awarded for excellence in various categories such as ‘Best Original Design’.
