The lower dovetailed file cabinet drawers are made of solid maple and have alum. slide bars for hanging folders. I never had a chance to get photos with it completley finished including the hardware and all decorated.
Always something.... The client wanted to have inset drawers and a low profile top at the desk but then discovered the chair arms wouldnt go ALL the way in. So we added 1 1/2 to the desk legs and hid it by wrapping the base around and shortening the top section. Took an extra 2 hours to adjust but she made us lunch and was nice to work with. Funny thing is, I think it looks better.
We replaced the old 6 panel pocket doors with these french glass doors
We were tossed between dividing the existing 42 shelf space evenly or match the width on the other side of the pocket doors. We offered both options to the client and I think they made a good choice.
My good friend and lead carpenter, Jose Gomez helped me build and install this cabinet. Hes by far one of the best carpenters I have ever met.

Built for the Sable family, this maple desk and bookcase Library was alot of fun to build.
