Faced with a snowy winter and some left over white oak,  I decided  to build this sled.  The ski shaped laminated runners were the main focus.  They're made from 4 shop sawn plys each 3/16" thick and molded on a simple 2 part mold (titebond III glue).

The joints are pivoting in the hope that the sled would steerable.  The laquered and waxed laminated runners make the sled very very fast.  The steering -- that's not so good :(
