Castor's Folly 2010  Maple, white oak, basswood, Acrylic artist paint. Studio Furniture created for a local group woodworking exhibition. Three of the viewed drawers are functional,angled dovetails throughout. Two of the exterior drawers are faux.The doors open to reveal three small white oak faced drawers with ebony pulls. The exterior is painted to resemble birch bark.

JP182 JP182 writes: No worries on slamming the doors. I created an armature of steel and laminated basswood around it for the "chewed" effect. Solid, no wobbles
