Recently I finally broke down and got our first flat screen TV. Woopie.

I didn't have anywhere to put the stereo stuff; wife said concrete blocks and 2X4's were out.

So, I came up with the buffet design, based on one in Fine Woodworking magazine. Shaker cherry on the outside, and spiffy high-tech electronics on the inside.

A close friend, Bob Cole, and his niece Masako and I built it in his woodshop. (Well, he and Masako built it and I kept the shop clean. They did let me do the back, where it wouldn’t show……………………).

It was our first shot at real furniture.

Thanks, guys.
