Tool Box, inspired by Tom Fidgen

I built the case in butternut so it would be light, and the rails and runners in oak for durability. The handle supports are attached with sliding dovetails and only 3 inches glued to allow seasonal movement.
In some cases I like to cut dovetails to a point like this, the only way I can describe them is as "true-half blinds." The tails are laid out like full dovetails and the pins are laid out as half blinds, then the web is mitered to meet a slight mitered rabet on the end of the tails.
