Hi Folks, thought i'd post this image of my first cabinet that i made from Oak, Walnut and Ebony. I custom built it to my own spec. I like the contemporary type cabinets that i see in stores but they are never that well built. The mass production of these often sees the omission of natual things like knots and natural blemishes which i think are part of the beauty of the piece of wood. The 2 drawers are solid Oak with dovetailed sides. I used a 'woodrat' for this. The black ebony handles are to go with the black Hi-fi in the room and the other bits of black in my room!

Now to re-do my bench. Needs a re-vamp!
