Solid cherry baby crib that converts to a youth bed and then to a twin bed. I made this for our new grandson, Jack.
Design or Plan used: composite of several design features from commercial cribs

Absolutely beautiful! What a lucky grandson! I just had my first baby and it occurred to me that I had always hoped of making his baby bed. I am scouring the internet for plans to make a bed just like this and can't find anything. It appears you made this by putting together ideas from production cribs you may have seen and not a plan. Is that correct or do I stand a chance at finding a plan or combination of plans that will help me build what I see here?? If you can help me in any way I sure would be grateful.
So you know my background, I used to work for a cabinet shop and then spent several years in the residential construction trades. I have experience in cabinetmaking and some architectural carving but have yet to make furniture. I know I have the ability and patience, but I definitely need some help and probably some more tools!
I appreciate you sharing this with us!
