Built with Red Oak - Inner components from Oak Veneered Plywood. Finished with a jet black wiping stain and clear lacquer top coat. Four drawers have coved edge finger pull which left the face nice and clean without hardware. Completed Sept 2010.

Rcoleman Rcoleman writes: I used a Nulac Jet Black Wiping Stain from Mohawk Finishing - applied with a brush and allowed to dry without wiping. It worked great - excellent coverage from one coat. I mixed a small amount into the first few coats of clear lacquer as well to give it some depth.

I tried looking at their website and it looks like they have replaced it with their own brand of wiping stain now. Good luck!
