This red oak bench is 60" wide and 36" high. It was my first attempt at carving using whatever chisels I had on hand, including some from my lathe. ( Time to invest in some real carving chisels.) All the joints are mortise and tenon. The stain is custom mixed, and finished with 3 coats of satin polyeurathane.

Your design suits your project.Southwest style overwhelms some projects, but your take on this bench works for me.
