I made this box for my friend's wife to house her collection of theraputic stones. The box is made primarily of walnut.  The side, back panels and drawer fronts are veneered with a beautifully figured maple burl which has been stained to match the walnut.  The drawer sides are quarter sawn white oak (with hand cut dovetails) and the interior dividers are made from zebra wood.  The glass in the top is 3/16 inches thick and beveled.  The finish is Waterlox Original, followed by a coat of dark brown Bri wax -- and a final coat of Renaissance microcrystalline wax.  Dimensions are: 14.5" wide by 12.5" deep by 10.5" high.  Thanks for looking. :)

I would love to make something like this for my daughters to put curios into. Must look for a plan!...
