Pair of ivory and German silver spirit levels

A pair of eight inch Scottish style spirit levels made from pre-ban elephant ivory with inlaid German silver trim. The steel screw heads were polished, and then blued using a heating torch. One of these two levels will be given to a close friend this Christmas. Barry bmw15@netris.org

Absolutely stunning. The workmanship is better than marvelous. I'm a long time tool collector and this kind of work makes you want to take one of the levels to bed and pet it. Congrats, MWTCA member, kfklline@bellsouth.net.
