hope chest built for my wife. Built out of birch, panels baltic birch mdf core 1/2 plywood. red chestnut stain. 4 coats poly. 40 hours to build, 8 hours to carve leaves by hand. First carved piece of furniture. Built from scrap and leftovers. only cost me hardware and time.
