threadsscreen writes: My son is an artist but has to spend many hours making frames for his art, if I knew how to make frames I could relieve him of the "framing component" and allow him to spend time painting. This book, I'm sure, would provide me with the instruction set to allow me to become the "family framing guru" and allow my son to paint.

A frame can make the difference when displaying a photograph, and there is nothing better than having the skills to build a frame to complement a photograph, or perhaps the other way around.

When I heard the price of framing the article of course I said: "I'm a woodworker-I'll make the frame and allow the frame shop to do the mat and glass." That was four months ago-the wood for the frame is still on a bench in the shop...
