threadsscreen threadsscreen writes: My son is an artist but has to spend many hours making frames for his art, if I knew how to make frames I could relieve him of the "framing component" and allow him to spend time painting. This book, I'm sure, would provide me with the instruction set to allow me to become the "family framing guru" and allow my son to paint.

Love Woodworking.

dgamari dgamari writes: Being an amateur photographer and a novice woodworker, this book is an excellent way to show my work and improve my woodworking skills at the same time. A frame can make the difference when displaying a photograph, and there is nothing better than having the skills to build a frame to complement a photograph, or perhaps the other way around.

Thank you for all your help.

Other than the enjoyment, is there a market for sweat and sawdust.

froemallet froemallet writes: I was fortunate to have been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer for recent work I've done. When I heard the price of framing the article of course I said: "I'm a woodworker-I'll make the frame and allow the frame shop to do the mat and glass." That was four months ago-the wood for the frame is still on a bench in the shop...

DrDaryn DrDaryn writes: Like many others have said, this would be a great book to have. I suffer from a common household malady, lack of frameitis, ie. lots of art and pictures but no frames to go with them because I'm too frugal to pay more for the frame than the art.
