This is my shop, set in a 24×24 Garage. were I spend my weekends.
I have since moved and have set up shop in a 30X36 building. my wife and I have added Insulation ,wall board,and a wood stove .also added a ceiling. I will post all new pics .

Add about 16 overhead double 24" florescent fixtures and you'll have much less trouble seeing and can get rid of the dedicated lighting over specific areas.
I like all the work surfaces you have around the table and radial saws. I agree with kbagan, some more lighting will help you. I installed 2 8 foot flo. fixtures with the high output ballasts and also painted all the walls and ceiling with high gloss white paint and it made a huge difference. Painting the floor with gray epoxy also helped immensely with light.
Your pictures are inspiring me to do more with converting my garage into a fully dedicated woodshop. I'm having a hard time giving up the ability to pull the car in the garage. Its the biggest struggle Im having. I like having the ability to work on the car in cold weather but then it interferes with having a dedicated wood shop. arrggggg. any one else struggling with this also?
