The top of this desk is made of bookmatched walnut boards. The legs are steam bent white oak. They protrude through the top, but are notched to accomodate movement. The apron is butternut. The grain is continous around the perimeter. The drawer pulls are ebonized cherry. The finish is varnish. It took approximately three months to build.
