Nightstand for Michael

Specially designed to match his bed. Made from Western Maple, the legs were glued up to present the best grain. All exterior panels are glued up solid wood, I used 1/2" Birch   plywood for the drawer box and 3/4 " for the bottom shelf. Primary construction method is mortise and loose tenon, using a jig and router to create the mortises in the legs etc. Satin Nickel pulls and hinges. Tung oil to highlight the grain with a oil and varnish topcoat.
