Drop-Leaf Harvest Table

This is a harvest table with drop leaves.  The table is 60 inches long by 40 inches wide.  The original board for this project were 22 inches wide and 16 feet long and as flat as the table top itself.  They had been in an attic for over 10 years.  Took me over a year of letting the boards acclimate back to "normal" humidity levels before I could build the table.

jstory jstory writes: Nice. In Ireland they call this a Wake Table......they lay the deceased's body, in or out of casket, in the middle of the table and spread out the food around on the leaves for the mourners/celbrants to eat while keeping an eye on old uncle so and so.
