I crafted these tables for my daughter-in-law. She set design limits for dimensions, 'use a dark wood', and asked for me to 'design something remarkable'. I liked the idea of a cabriole leg pierceing the top yet separated from it. I chose walnut with a contrasting koa inlay. The tables are not stained, and are finished in hand rubbed, semi-gloss polyurethane.
