Taunton's Complete Illustrated Guide to Choosing and Installing Hardware
by Robert J. Settich
The Taunton Press, 2003.
$29.95; 218 pp.
Taunton's Complete Illustrated Guide to Choosing and Installing Hardwareseems to cover just about any type of hardware you might need to use. Flipping through the pages, I came across mini padlocks for childproofing power tools, (they get locked on the plugs) and there is even a chapter on technology hardware. Of course the book also covers lots more traditional hardware like hinges, latches and shelf supports. The book in filled with color photos to illustrate the methods for installation from simple butt hinges to table extension slides.

I will look forward to adding this book to my growing collection. I may know a lot about woodworking, but they always teach me a thing or two.
