This is a hall table I built for my new home. It is 66" x 12" x 30" the base is Mahogney, the top is a solid piece of Jatoba, and the risers and details are zebra wood.

Design or Plan used: My own design

The joinery on the stretchers is a traditional mortise and tenon, but the joinery on the legs is the zebra wood circles with two small loose tenons on each side. it was a lot of work, but I it achieved the look I was after. the zebra wood "risers" that hold up the top are simply joined with dowels and the top is secured with figure 8's which allow for wood movement.
