Guitar Stool

The stool frame is Padauk, and the seat, guitar supports, and foot rest are all carved from a solid piece of Oregon Myrtle wood. I wanted a stand for my guitars, AND a place to sit and play, and this was my solution. The stool is 16" x 16" x 30", the finish is lacquer on the frame and 4 coats of a custom tounge oil blend on all the myrtle wood.

I'm jumping on the wanting to steal the design bandwagon. I often end up sitting on the front edge of my Limbert's armchair (like a morris chair) with the back of the body of my guitar banging away on the wooden arm rest. That's a nice looking guitar too.
