The wood is Eucalyptus leucoxylon which is a very dense hardwood. I milled and air dried the timber and searched for designs that would suit this material. The wood is relatively stable and machines well with sharp blades. The whole project is built using Festool Domino loose tenons and polyurethane glue. Thanks Matt for the design and detailed plans.
